As a Fleet Stewardess at Crew on Sea, you work on a variety of small yachts throughout the season.
One day you may be welcoming guests on a 25-meter motor yacht during an owner’s weekend trip to Corsica. The next, you may be supporting a 16-meter charter yacht for a day charter along the Côte d’Azur. You operate across different yacht types — from sporty open yachts to flybridge motor yachts — each with its own layout, guest profile, and service expectations.
Your responsibilities include:
• Guest welcome and onboard hospitality
• Preparing and serving drinks and light meals
• Maintaining interior cleanliness and presentation
• Turnover preparation between charters
• Provisioning support
• Laundry and interior organisation when required
Each yacht has a different interior layout, galley setup, storage system, and guest dynamic. You are expected to adapt quickly, maintain discretion, and deliver consistent service standards — whether for private owners or charter guests.
Working across multiple yachts strengthens your organisation, communication, and service skills. You learn to adjust to different environments, time pressures, and guest expectations within the same week.
Operating as a Fleet Stewardess is therefore not only a professional responsibility — it is also strong preparation for progression toward larger yachts. Exposure to varied service environments and operational rhythms creates a solid foundation for advancing within the superyacht industry.
Familiarisation & Training
Before you begin active service days, you complete a structured familiarisation phase.
During this phase, you step on board different yachts within our network to understand interior layouts, storage systems, galley equipment, and service flows.
We align service standards, guest communication protocols, hygiene procedures, and presentation expectations. The goal is to ensure that wherever you step on board, you operate according to consistent Crew on Sea standards.
Basic hospitality and yacht service understanding are required before joining Crew on Sea. The familiarisation phase is designed to standardise procedures — not to teach fundamental service skills from the beginning.
Only after this alignment process are you deployed on active assignments.
